German B1 means that after successfully completing a German course for advanced learners at level B1, you will be able to use German independently. This means that you are able to understand the main messages in a conversation when high-level language is used and familiar things from your work, university, school or leisure time are involved. You can speak simply and coherently about familiar topics and personal interests. You can describe events, dreams, hopes and goals and give brief reasons for plans and opinions. You are able to cope with most situations that one encounters while traveling in German-speaking regions.

German B2 means that after successfully completing a German course for advanced learners at level B2 you can use German independently. This means that you understand the key messages of complex texts on descriptive and abstract topics; You understand technical discussions when it comes to matters of your own subject area. You can express yourself impromptu and communicate so fluently that you can have a normal conversation with native German speakers for the most part effortlessly. You are able to express yourself coherently and in detail on a wide range of topics, to take a position on a current issue and to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

German C1 means that after successfully completing a German course for advanced learners at level C1, you will be able to use German in a competent manner. This means that you can understand a wide range of difficult, longer texts and also read information between the lines. You are able to express yourself fluently and spontaneously without having to search for words noticeably more often. You can use German effectively and flexibly in your private and professional life or in everyday training. You are able to express yourself in a structured and detailed manner on complex matters and to adequately use different linguistic tools for text linking.

German C2 means that after successfully completing a German course for advanced learners at level C2, you will be able to use German in a competent manner. This means that you can easily understand almost everything that you read or hear in German. You can summarize information as well as related reasons and explanations from various written and oral sources and reproduce them coherently. You are able to express yourself very fluently and precisely off the cuff and grasp finer nuances even in more complex matters.

We offer intensive courses for advanced learners as well as evening, morning and weekend courses for advanced learners at levels B1, B2, C1 and C2. On request, we can also put together a personal offer for German individual and small group courses.

A German course for advanced learners usually lasts between three to five weeks, depending on whether you are attending an intensive course or an evening, morning or weekend course.

An intensive course for advanced learners at levels B1, B2, C1 or C2 lasts between ten and 16 days and comprises 80 lessons each (one lesson = 45 minutes). This means that you have an average of five to eight lessons per day of the course.

An evening, morning or weekend course for advanced learners at levels B1, B2, C1 or C2 lasts between 20 to 24 days and comprises 72 lessons each (one lesson = 45 minutes). This means that you have an average of three lessons per evening, morning or weekend.

A three-week intensive course for advanced learners at levels B1, B2, C1 and C2 with 80 lessons each usually costs 1,099 euros.

A four- to five-week evening, morning or weekend course for advanced learners at levels B1, B2, C1 and C2 with 72 lessons each costs between 670 euros and 980 euros, depending on the course location.
